Picnic shelter and outdoor venue reservations are accepted up to six months in advance for use year-round. Reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis. Call (206) 801-2600 for more information or reservations.  The City of Shoreline has four covered picnic shelters, one trellis picnic area and an amphitheater with a covered stage available for rental. Details of each are listed below. We have also provided answers to some frequently asked questions for picnic shelter and outdoor venue rentals.

Paramount School Park Picnic Shelter, 835 NE 155th Street
This shelter features a large 2.5’ x 3’ barbecue, seven picnic tables, adjacent to children’s play areas, paved walking trail, ball fields and the Connie King Skate Park. Athletic fields nearby may be available for an additional fee. Currently there is no power or water access at the paramount Picnic Shelter.

Richmond Beach Saltwater Park Lower Shelter, 2021 NW 190th Street
This shelter is right on the beach, across the train track footbridge from the lower parking lot. There is a concrete-surrounded ring for campfires and adjacent to restrooms, potable water access and an electrical outlet. Ideal location for beach combing and water play.


Richmond Beach Saltwater Park Upper Shelter, 2021 NW 190th Street
A large plaza and shelter features a panoramic view of Puget Sound, restrooms and children’s play equipment nearby. There is also water access, one 15-amp outlet for electricity and easy access for equipment and guests. It is a moderate walk to access the beach. The shelter has five fixed tables under the shelter and seven fixed tables in the plaza area. Charcoal cooking grills are available in the plaza area and under the shelter.

The Terrace at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park, 2021 NW 190th Street
This area of the park has a beautiful view of Puget Sound, several picnic tables, grass areas and a trellis area that makes The Terrace an ideal spot for small weddings and gatherings. Alcohol service may be allowed at this venue with required permits, additional fees and approved application. The area has temporary restrooms at the site, with full service restrooms in the lower parking lot. In addition to no generators or amplification, additional regulations apply to this site. Please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions link above for additional details on this and our other picnic shelters.

Hamlin Park Picnic Shelter,
16006 15th Avenue NE
This park features a new picnic shelter adjacent to restrooms, play equipment, public art, ballfields and trails. The shelter has water access within walking distance & one 15-amp outlet for electricity at the shelter. Seven picnic tables are set up inside the shelter. There is one charcoal cooking grill at the shelter, and personal propane gas grills are permitted. To find out picnic shelter availability, call (206) 801-2600.

Cromwell Park Picnic Shelter & Amphitheatre
18030 Meridian Avenue North
This newly renovated park has an amphitheatre which is a wonderful spot for performances, weddings and gatherings! The stage structure is approximately 550 square feet with power for sound equipment. A sloped grass lawn area has views to the concrete stage. The use of amplification requires a 4-hour minimum reservation and will be assessed an additional supervision fee of $18.50 per hour. Alcohol service may be allowed at this venue with required permits, additional fees and approved application.

Half-Day*: $60.00; w/Resident Disc.: $50.00
Full Day: $90.00; w/Resident Disc.: $75.00
*Half-Day Schedule: 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. to Dusk

Additional fees apply for alcohol service at the Upper Terrace at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park and Cromwell Park Amphitheater pending approved application:

Permit: $200.00
Supervisor Fee: $18.50 per hour
