Big Ideas for Small Grants: Mini-Grant Workshop March 17
Shoreline’s neighborhoods are thriving thanks to the residents who have used the City's two types of grants to improve their communities and create neighborhood unity. A how-to workshop on March 17 will give you all the information you need to apply for either a Neighborhood or Environmental Mini-Grant.
City Council appoints Planning Commission, Library Board members
At its March 8 meeting, the Shoreline City Council appointed three members to the Planning Commission and four new members to the Library Board.
Seattle City Light rate increase
Shoreline residents will notice a rate increase in their Seattle City Light (SCL) bills this winter. Two federally funded programs can assist low income renters and homeowners with the energy bills.

United Way of King County and AARP provide free tax preparation for seniors and households making less than $42,000.
